Confirming your email address
For anyone with a confirmation link in their inbox — how to use it, how to get a new one, and what confirming actually changes.
Open the link EVVA emailed you when you registered. The page is headed Confirm your email; press Confirm my email and it is done. The success screen reads: Email confirmed — Thank you — your address is verified. You can carry on where you left off.
Confirmation links are valid for 24 hours.
The link does not use itself up when the page loads — you have to press the button. That is deliberate: email providers and link scanners often open links before you ever see them, and a link that spent itself on loading would be dead by the time you clicked it.
Confirming does not unlock anything
This is the part people expect to work differently. Confirming your address records a fact — that the address is yours, proved at that moment. It does not gate anything:
- You can browse, buy and message without confirming.
- Creators are not activated by confirming; creator access has its own, stronger identity checks.
So if you are stuck on something and wondering whether an unconfirmed email is the cause, it is not.
You did not get the email
Check your spam folder first. If it is not there, ask the confirmation page for a fresh one:
- Sign in to EVVA.
- Open a confirmation link from your email — an expired or already-used one is fine.
- Press Send me a new link. You get A new link is on its way to your address.
Sending the new link needs you signed in. If you are signed out, the page says Sign in and we will send you a new link. — sign in and press it again.
If no confirmation email has ever reached you, ask us to send one: support@evvahub.com.
”This link is no longer valid.”
The full message is: This link is no longer valid. Request a new one and it will arrive in a moment. The Send me a new link button replaces the confirm button at the same moment.
One message covers three cases, and they are not distinguished:
- the link is more than 24 hours old,
- it has already been used,
- a newer link was issued, which replaced it.
In every case the fix is the same: press Send me a new link on that screen while signed in, then use the newest email.
”Nothing to confirm”
This link is missing its confirmation code. Open the link from your email exactly as it arrived.
You have reached the confirmation page without a code in the address — usually by typing the address by hand, or by copying only part of the link out of the email. Open the link from the email itself, whole.
