What happens after you report something
For anyone who has filed a report: what EVVA does with it, what you will see, and what else you can do.
Your report is recorded against the creator or the message you reported, and read by a person at EVVA.
Filing a report does not itself hide, remove, block or restrict anything. A person decides what happens, and that takes as long as it takes.
If something needs to stop affecting you now, the actions further down this page are the ones that take effect straight away.
What you will and will not see
- You get one confirmation. On a profile, the menu item becomes Report sent. In a conversation, the message is marked as reported for you.
- You are not told what action was taken. What happens to somebody else’s account is not shown to you.
- Reports are not combined. Ten people reporting the same creator leave ten separate records, and reporting the same thing twice yourself leaves two.
- The person you reported is not told who reported them.
What does take effect
If what you have seen may be illegal — in particular anything sexual involving someone under 18, a credible threat, or an immediate risk to someone’s safety — do not wait on a report. Contact your local police or a national reporting hotline.
