Do you need a referral code?
For anyone at the “Were you referred?” question — what a code does, and why to enter it now if you have one.
No. It is the only question in creator setup you can skip, and skipping it changes nothing about the rest of setup. If you do have a code, enter it here.
The question
Were you referred? If a creator invited you, enter their code. They earn a share of your income — it costs you nothing.
One field, up to 64 characters, with the placeholder e.g. EVVA-765. Two ways past it:
- Type the code and press Continue.
- Press Skip for now, or press Continue with the field empty. Either is recorded as “I was not referred”.
What entering a code does
The code is recorded against your application, and the creator whose code it is earns a share of your income. It costs you nothing: your subscription price, your payouts and every other part of setup are the same either way.

Both halves of that note hold: a code is optional, and one can be added afterwards from your creator settings. The thing to know is that your answers lock the moment your identity check starts — so if you already have a code, typing it here is simplest.
If you typed the wrong code
While your answers are still open you can go back with the back arrow and change it, or clear the field and continue as not referred. Once a check is in flight the wizard refuses changes with “Your answers are locked while we check your identity.”
