Skipping, going back, and finishing setup later
For anyone who stopped part way through creator setup — how EVVA remembers where you were, and when your answers lock.
Stop whenever you like. Your answers are the only thing stored, and the page works out where you were from them, so you come back to the same question. Nothing expires, nothing is deleted and nothing chases you.
Coming back
Sign in on the creator app and you land on setup. You do not need the link you originally arrived with, and you do not need to start again.
Because nothing is stored as “step 4” — only your answers — a refresh, a second tab, a different browser, another device and a return three weeks later all show you the same question.
Signing in on the EVVA app while setup is unfinished takes you to the EVVA home page rather than to setup. That is deliberate: until you activate, your account is an ordinary account. To carry on, use the creator app, or press Start earning on the EVVA Become a Creator page again.
If you open anything in the creator studio before activating, you are sent to setup rather than into a sign-in loop.
Going back, and what can be skipped
- The back arrow shows a question you have already answered. From the first question it takes you out to the EVVA Become a Creator page.
- The forward arrow only moves as far as you have already reached. You cannot jump ahead to the identity check.
- Skip for now exists on the referral question and nowhere else. Every other question has to be answered — including the subscription price, which has no skip: leaving it blank would keep returning you to it and the identity check would never open.
When your answers lock
The moment your identity check starts, your answers close. If something tries to change one you get:
Your answers are locked while we check your identity. Nothing is lost — come back shortly.
Both arrows go dark at the same time, because there is nothing to go back to while the answers are closed.
They open again in one case: if the check comes back asking for another try. In that state you can correct anything — your handle, your country, your content choice, your price — before you press Try again.
Once you are verified, or refused, the answers stay closed for good.
Nothing expires
While you are waiting on a verification result, the setup page is the place to watch: it re-checks every 8 seconds for as long as it is open. EVVA also raises an in-app notification — “There is an update on your identity verification.” See what each identity verification result means.
Because nothing expires an unfinished application, the handle you typed stays reserved to you for as long as it sits there. Coming back in a month does not mean losing your name.
If you abandoned the identity check itself
Closing the verification partner’s tab, or leaving the check until it lapses, does not lock you out. It puts you in the retry state — “We need another look at your documents” — with a Try again button, so the door stays open. See what each identity verification result means.
If you want to stop for good
Nothing needs to be pressed: an unfinished application does nothing on its own, grants nothing and charges nothing. It simply sits there for as long as you leave it. If you would rather it was gone, ask support to remove it.
