How much of a marketplace sale do I keep?
For creators selling in the marketplace — the one revenue rule on EVVA, and why the marketplace adds no fee of its own.
You keep 75% of a marketplace sale when the buyer was brought to EVVA by you, and 50% when the platform brought them.
That is the whole rule, and it is the same rule as the rest of EVVA.
The two cases
- The sale is attributed to you — you keep 75%, EVVA keeps 25%.
- The sale is attributed to the platform, or there is no qualifying attribution — you keep 50%, EVVA keeps 50%.
Which case applies is decided when the order is placed, from the evidence recorded on the way to that order. It is not something you set on your offer, and there is no third case.
The marketplace adds no fee
There is no marketplace commission, no listing fee and no escrow fee. Nothing in the marketplace calculates money of its own — the split above is applied by EVVA’s one revenue policy and nothing else touches it.
Where you see the word “commission” on EVVA’s marketplace, it means a commissioned piece of work, not a cut of your money.
Why the amounts on screen look like the full price
Every marketplace figure shown to you — the In escrow line, the order card, the Deliver sheet — is the gross amount the buyer paid. EVVA’s share is not subtracted in front of you on each screen.
Your actual share appears in one place: Earnings & Payouts, reachable from your navigation and from the Marketplace tools card on the Marketplace screen. Its own note says what it answers — what you keep, and when it clears.
A case that surprises creators
A sale EVVA cannot attribute to a creator lands on the 50/50 default — including one where a buyer reached your offer with no record of you having brought them. The 75% share needs that evidence on the order, not just your memory of having sent them.
It is explained in Why did a sale from my own offer earn me the platform split?
