Which parts of EVVA are AI (and which only sound like it)
For creators working out what generates something and what does not — the AI features, and the ones with AI in the name that contain none.
“AI” on EVVA covers two unrelated things. One is the AI creator disclosure at setup, which is a label on your profile. The other is a set of AI tools every creator can use, whatever they declared. This page is a map of the second one.
What actually generates something
Every one of these costs from your generation allowance.
What has AI in the name and contains none
- Audio Lab (not in the navigation; reachable only by typing the address). It records from your microphone and uploads the result. There is no generation, no voice cloning and no AI in it at all. Recording stops at 10 minutes.
- Ice breaker (also not in the navigation). This is the raw settings page for your welcome message. Nothing writes it for you.
- The four event rules on Automated messages — the tip thank-you, the subscription-expired message, the quiet-fan nudge and the paid-message follow-up. You write the words; the platform sends them on time. No AI is involved at any point.
- The Personality tab. It stores answers you type. Nothing on it drafts anything for you. See the AI Personality tab.
Ice breaker, Welcome message and AI automations: three names, three things
These get confused because they sit next to each other.
Welcome message
One of the rules on the Automated messages screen. It fires when someone subscribes, sends text you wrote, and offers four delay chips: Right away, 1 hour later, 1 day later, 3 days later. Full detail is in automated messages.
Ice breaker
The same welcome message, on an older page that is not in the navigation. It exposes the delay as a free number of seconds — its field reads Seconds after subscription with the hint “0 sends immediately. Max 604800 (7 days).” Both pages read and write the same setting, so they can never disagree. If your delay was saved here as something the chips cannot express, the Automated messages screen keeps your own wording for it — “45 minutes later” — rather than rounding it into a chip.
An AI automation is switched on or off like any other rule, and a change to its guidance is published as a new version.
One that is on but not sending says which of two things is true: “Paused by the platform.” or “The live version has not been approved yet, so it is not sending.”
Before EVVA writes to a fan as you
Anything that generates a message and sends it in your name needs your own Act without asking permission, which starts off on every account and which you turn on yourself. Until then, EVVA does not send on your behalf. See what EVVA may do with your likeness.
