Your setup link from EVVA is no longer valid
For anyone who pressed “Start earning” and landed on an error — what the one-time link is, and how to get into setup without it.
Go to the creator app, sign in, and open setup. The link from EVVA is a shortcut, not a requirement, and nothing in your setup depends on it. You can also go back to EVVA and press Start earning again to get a fresh one.
What the link is
When you press Start earning, EVVA mints a handover ticket and carries it in the address of the creator app’s setup page. That ticket:
- works once, and is spent the moment it is used,
- lasts 60 seconds,
- is tied to the creator app only,
- travels in the part of the address after the
#, so it is not sent to servers, not written into access logs, and not reachable with the Back button. The creator app erases it from the address bar before using it.
That is why a link you saved, reloaded, or opened a minute later does not work. It is not a fault.
The message you saw
That link is no longer valid — these links can only be used once, and they expire quickly. Go back to EVVA and choose “Start earning” again.
There is a Back to EVVA button under it. This one message covers every reason a ticket is refused — already used, expired, unknown, or minted for the other app. The page does not tell you which, on purpose.
The other message
We could not complete the handover from EVVA just now. If trying again does not work, go back to EVVA and choose “Start earning” again.
With Try again and Back to EVVA. This one means something else went wrong on the way — not that your link expired. Try again is worth a press here.
Do not share or forward the link
While the link is still valid, anyone who opens it is signed in to your account. Do not paste it into a chat, a ticket, an email or a second browser. If you have already shared one, the safest thing is to sign in on the creator app directly and ignore the link — it is spent as soon as somebody uses it.
A ticket is spent the moment it is used, so finish the handover in the tab that opened it rather than reopening the link somewhere else. If you need a fresh one, go back to EVVA and press Start earning again — you can do that as often as you like.
Getting into setup without the link
This path always works and needs no ticket:
Open the creator app
Go to Creator sign in and sign in with the same email address and password you use on EVVA.
Signing in on the EVVA app while setup is unfinished takes you to the EVVA home page, not to setup. That is deliberate — at that point your account is still an ordinary account. Use the creator app, or press Start earning again.
