What does each order state mean, and what do I do in it?
For creators reading the Orders tab — the nine states, whether your money is held, and the one action each one offers.
Every marketplace order sits in one state, and the state decides what you can do and whether the buyer’s money is being held.
Your orders are on the Orders tab of Marketplace.
The nine states
Awaiting payment — the card says Not paid yet. EVVA places the order first and takes the payment second, so an order can legitimately sit here. Nothing is held, nothing is owed by you, and there is nothing to accept. Do not start the work yet.
New request — Held in escrow. The buyer has paid. Press Accept order. See How do I accept an order?
In progress — Held in escrow. You have the work. Press Deliver when it is ready. See How do I deliver an order?
Delivered — Held in escrow. The files are with the buyer and you are waiting for them to accept. View delivery shows what you sent.
Changes requested — Held in escrow, and the card goes amber. The buyer has asked for a revision. Press Deliver again. A revision is answered by delivering, not by writing a reply.
Disputed — Held in escrow, amber. Press Respond. See A buyer disputed my order — what are my 72 hours for?
Completed — Released. The money has left escrow and is yours.
Refunded — Returned to the buyer. Nothing is held and there is nothing to do.
Cancelled — Nothing was charged. Nothing is held and there is nothing to do.
What the buttons will not do
Where a state offers you no action — Delivered waiting on the buyer, Refunded, Cancelled — the card shows facts only. The Message link on the card is the one thing you can always do.
You cannot cancel a set of agreed terms. An agreement is final from the moment you both accept it. Cancelling happens to the order, and the buyer is the one who does it.
Reading the list itself
Under your work states is Recorded orders — the payment records EVVA holds, with the amount, status and source set by the platform and shown as they are.
The filter row searches the page you are on, not your whole history. Selecting a state and seeing nothing tells you about that page only. Use Previous and Next to move through the rest.
