How do I deliver an order?
For creators finishing a marketplace order — the Deliver sheet, the 50-file limit, why there is no message field, and why delivery is final.
Delivering means attaching the finished files from your Vault. On an order in In progress, press Deliver.
The Deliver the order sheet
The sheet is titled Deliver the order and has three parts: The request, Files, and In escrow.
Read The request
This is the brief the buyer wrote. If they took your published terms and wrote nothing, the box says so — that is not a failed load.
Under the button, the sheet states when you get paid: This releases to you when the buyer accepts the delivery.
There is no message to the buyer
The Deliver sheet takes files. Anything you want to say about the work — what changed, how to use it, a thank you — belongs in the order’s own conversation, through the Message link on the order card. Both of you already have that chat.
Delivery is final
Once you send the files the buyer keeps them. Archiving or deleting your own copy does not take them back — only a full refund closes their access. The sheet tells you this before you press, not after.
When a delivery is refused
- “EVVA would not record this delivery. The order has to be paid for, and every file has to be yours and finished processing.” — one message covers several grounds. Check that the order is paid for and that every file you picked is yours and has finished processing.
- “Could not reach EVVA. Nothing was delivered.” — the request did not get through. Nothing was sent; try again.
After you deliver
The order becomes Delivered and the money stays in escrow until the buyer accepts. View delivery shows what you sent, with a count: “3 files sent to the buyer.”
If a file has since been removed from EVVA’s storage, the record still stands and says so: “1 file is no longer stored on EVVA. The delivery still stands.”
If the buyer asks for changes
The order moves to Changes requested and the button becomes Deliver again. Answer it by delivering — a revision has no reply field and no separate reply deadline.
If a delivery step is not offered at all
Some orders have no delivery step: “This order does not have a delivery step on EVVA. Direct purchases are handed over the moment they are paid for.” That is correct for a direct purchase rather than a commissioned piece of work.
