Why some sales pay you 50% and others 75%
For creators comparing two sales at two different rates — what “attributed” means and what decides it.
A sale pays you 75% only when EVVA can see evidence that you brought the buyer. Every other sale falls to the default, which is 50/50. The decision is made once, at the moment the order is placed.
What counts as evidence
At checkout, EVVA looks for a recorded visit on one of your EVVA traffic links — a link of the creator-link kind, carrying your creator reference — made within 7 days before the purchase. If it finds one, the sale is attributed to you and you keep 75%.
If nothing qualifies, the sale takes the default treatment: attributed to the platform, split 50/50. That is a real recorded decision with the reason “nothing qualified”, not an error and not a fallback for a broken sale.
A 50/50 sale does not mean EVVA took credit for a buyer you brought. It means nothing qualified — no visit on one of your own links was recorded within the window before that purchase. If you want the higher rate on a sale, bring the buyer through one of your own traffic links.
The practical consequence: unless a creator link of your own was recorded and credited, a sale settles at 50/50 — including sales that came from somewhere you consider your own audience.
The rate is per purchase, not per creator
You do not have “a split”. Two sales made on the same day to the same fan can carry different rates if one followed a credited link and the other did not. This is why your earnings page shows a percentage worked out from your completed sales rather than a rate EVVA publishes for you.
Subscription renewals do not get re-decided
A renewal inherits the rate of the first order in that subscription. If the first month was attributed to you at 75%, every renewal on that subscription is 75%; if it was 50/50, renewals stay 50/50. See Can EVVA change your split on sales you have already made?
What you can do
- Check what a specific sale actually paid in the transactions table on your earnings page — gross, fee and net are shown per sale and come from the record of that order.
- Before relying on a link to earn you 75%, read Do your links earn you the higher share? — there are conditions a link has to meet, and they are easy to miss.
- Price with the range EVVA quotes you rather than assuming 75%.
