Your creator inbox
For creators — what a thread shows, how to pin, snooze and nickname one, how to sort, and how saved replies work.
Your inbox is at Chats in the creator app. It shows 50 threads at a time by default, and every triage mark you apply is private to you.
What a thread shows
A chat row in your inbox shows the fan by their public display name and picture, with a short reference — the last eight characters of the chat’s id — for when you need to quote a thread to us. Your Fans screen lists the same people with their profile address as well.
To label a thread your own way, give it a nickname (below). The nickname is yours alone and is never shown to the fan.
Triage marks
From a thread you can:
- Pin it, mark it VIP, or flag it as needs a reply.
- Snooze it until a time in the future. A time in the past is refused with “Snooze until a time in the future.”
- Give it a private nickname.
- Mute the thread.
Snoozing re-ranks a thread; it never hides it. A message arriving during a snooze is still visible, because a hidden thread is a missed message.
Nobody is ever told they were pinned, flagged, muted, snoozed, marked VIP or given a nickname.
Sorting and searching
Sort your inbox three ways:
- Recent (the default) — newest activity first.
- Spend — by what that fan has spent with you.
- Unanswered — threads waiting on a reply from you.
Search runs over your whole inbox, not just the page you are looking at. A search term has to be 2 to 200 characters; an empty box simply means no search rather than an error.
Archived threads are left out of the list by default. You can switch to showing only archived threads, or all of them.
The Fan info panel
Open a thread and the fan panel shows: your nickname for them, whether you have muted them, what they have spent with you, your private notes, and whether they hold a standing paid subscription.
Spend shows as empty rather than as $0 when a fan has paid you nothing. “Nothing yet” and “zero measured” are different facts, and the panel does not blur them.
Marking everything read
Mark all as read clears your whole inbox in one go and tells you how many threads moved. It skips archived threads, and it overrides any thread you had deliberately marked unread.
The unread badge on the rail is counted across every thread you have, not just the ones on the current page, so it keeps counting past the 50th thread.
Saved replies
Saved replies live in the Templates tab of the chat composer.
- Write a reply: a name of 1 to 80 characters and text of 1 to 2,000 characters.
- Optionally attach files from your Vault, and optionally set a price. A priced reply with no file is refused: “A priced reply must include at least one file.”
- Insert it into the composer from the Templates tab, edit it if you want, and send.
You can keep 100 saved replies. Creating one past that is refused with “You have reached the maximum number of saved replies” — delete one first.
The “Used N times” figure counts real sends only. Inserting a reply into the composer and then not sending counts nothing, and a retried send is not counted twice. The count can never stop a message going out.
