What creator setup asks you, step by step
For anyone inside the creator setup wizard — the six questions, what each one decides, and the limits on each answer.
Creator setup asks six questions and then puts you in front of an identity check. The progress ribbon shows seven dots: the six questions, plus Verify identity, which is a status rather than a question.
The dots are labelled Referral, Where you live, Creator type, Content, Your name and Subscription price.
How the wizard behaves
Every Continue saves your answer on the server, and the server decides what comes next from which answers are missing. Nothing is stored as “step 4”, which is why a refresh, a second tab, another device or a return days later all land in the same place.
You cannot jump ahead. The forward arrow only moves as far as you have already reached, and the back arrow paints a question you have already answered. From the first question, the back arrow takes you out to the EVVA Become a Creator page. Close takes you to the EVVA home page.
Both arrows go dark once your answers are locked — see skipping, going back, and finishing setup later.
1. Referral
Were you referred? If a creator invited you, enter their code. They earn a share of your income — it costs you nothing.
A single field for a code, up to 64 characters, with the placeholder e.g. EVVA-765. This is the only question you can skip: press Skip for now, or press Continue with the field empty, and that is recorded as “not referred”.

2. Where you live
What is your country of residency? This sets your payout options and the tax rules we apply.
A searchable picker with 206 countries, labelled Country with the placeholder Select a country. The names and flags come from your own device’s language settings.
The note under the field reads “You will not be able to change this later.” That holds once your creator account opens: your country of residency is fixed from then on, because it sets your payout options and the tax rules applied to you. While your answers are still open you can go back with the back arrow and pick a different country.
3. Creator type
Select your creator type We tailor onboarding to how you make your content. There is no wrong choice.
Two cards: AI creator (“Primarily generated or significantly edited with AI tools.”) and Human creator (“Content is of yourself, with no use of AI tools.”).
Choosing AI creator does not change the identity check in any way. See creator type and content type.
4. Content
What kind of content will you be creating? This decides who can see your profile and which tools we open for you.
Two cards: 18+ content (“Nudity, adult themes, or made for mature audiences.”) and General content (“Suitable for audiences of all ages.”).
This is the one choice with a consequence for verification: choosing 18+ content means the identity check also has to establish that you are over 18. See creator type and content type.
5. Your name
Create your name and handle This is how fans find you. Both can be changed later.
Two fields, saved together:
- Display name — 2 to 80 characters, placeholder Yuna Moore, note “Shown on your profile and in messages.”
- Handle — your unique @username. 3 to 40 characters, lowercase letters, digits, underscore and hyphen only.
Your handle has to be unique, and its grammar is stricter than the display name’s, so read choosing your display name and handle before you commit to one.
6. Subscription price
Set your subscription price Your monthly price for fans. You can change it whenever you like, and run free trials on top.
A single amount with a fixed $ in front of it: setup sets your price in US dollars.
The note reads “Minimum 100.00.” Type something outside that and the screen says “Choose a monthly price between 100.00.” with Continue greyed out until you fix it.
This question cannot be skipped. If it were left unanswered the wizard would keep returning you to it and the identity check would never open.

When the six are done
The ribbon lands on the seventh position, Verify identity, and the button reads Verify and start earning. From here on the flow is about your identity check, not your answers: see how identity verification works.
If a field is refused
The wizard has one message for a refused answer: “Please check the highlighted field.” In practice it means the handle breaks its grammar, the display name is shorter than two characters, or the country or currency was not one the server accepts — choosing your display name and handle lists the handle rules in full.
