How to report a creator or a message

For anyone on EVVA: the two things you can report, where the controls are, and the exact reasons you can choose from.

EVVA has two report controls: one on a creator’s profile, and one on a single message in a conversation.

Before you use either, read What happens after you report something — it sets out what a report does and what you see afterwards.

Report a creator

Choose Report creator

This only opens the list of reasons. It does not file anything on its own.

Pick a reason

The list is headed Why are you reporting this creator? Choosing a reason files the report immediately.

The ten reasons are: Spam or scam · Harassment or bullying · Hate speech · Unwanted sexual content · Violence or threats · Self-harm · Illegal activity · Intellectual property · Impersonation · Something else.

When it is filed, the menu item changes to Report sent. If it does not change, the report did not go through — try again.

There is no free-text box on this control, and no way to attach a screenshot or a link. The reason you pick is the whole report.

Report one message

Open the message’s action menu and choose Report (described as “Report this message”).

There is no reason picker here. Every message report is filed as “Something else”.
You can only report a message in a conversation you are part of.
The message is marked as reported for you. Tapping again files a second, separate report rather than changing the first.
If it fails, the thread says “Could not send that report.”

What you cannot report

Anything while signed out. Reporting needs a signed-in account, so sign in first. A signed-out visitor is not offered the control at all, rather than one that appears to work and does not.

A report is not a takedown request. If you need a copyright notice, a non-consensual-image removal or a formal complaint handled, see Copyright and non-consensual image takedowns — the report control cannot carry any of what those require.
