Signing up as a creator
For anyone who wants to earn on EVVA — why there is no separate creator sign-up, and where creator access actually comes from.
There is no creator account to register. The creator sign-up page creates an ordinary buyer account, and creator access is added to that same account later, once onboarding and identity verification are complete.
The creator sign-up page says this up front: Create your account, then set up your profile and verify your identity. You keep full buyer access on the same account.
What happens when you sign up on the creator site
Open the creator sign-up page
It is headed Join EVVA as a creator and asks for an email address and a password only — at least 8 characters. No handle and no display name are asked for here; those come later, in onboarding.
Starting from EVVA instead
If you already have an EVVA account, open /become-a-creator — the Become a Creator entry in the navigation.
- Signed in, the button reads Start earning and carries you straight into creator onboarding with your existing session.
- Signed out, it reads Sign in to start, and brings you back to this page after you sign in.
- If your account already holds creator access, the page reads You already have a creator account and offers Go to your creator studio.
The link that carries you from EVVA into creator onboarding is valid for 60 seconds and one use only. If you pause, open it twice, or come back to it later, the creator app shows That link is no longer valid with a Back to EVVA button. Nothing is wrong with your account — go back to EVVA and press Start earning again.
The two addresses worth remembering
/become-a-creator on EVVA starts the crossing, and /onboarding in the creator app is the wizard itself. Those are the two pages you use.
Why signing in later drops you into the fan app
If you registered on the creator site and did not finish onboarding, a later sign-in takes you to the EVVA home page, not the creator studio.
That is what should happen: your account is a buyer account, so the creator workspace would refuse every action in it. To carry on where you left off, open /become-a-creator and press Start earning, or go to the creator app’s /onboarding directly.
Registering with a creator role through the API is refused outright, with a message pointing you back to buyer registration. There is no route to a creator account that skips onboarding and identity verification.
Choosing a handle
Creator onboarding checks whether a handle is free as you type. That check is advisory. Handles are only truly claimed when your profile is created, so a handle can be taken in between — in which case activation tells you the handle was taken while you were verifying, and you pick another.
