How long you stay signed in
For anyone signed out sooner than expected — what ends a session, and why EVVA and the Creator Studio ask separately.
Your sign-in lasts for as long as that browser tab is open. Close the tab or quit the browser and you are signed out — you will sign in again next time, even the same day.
EVVA keeps your session in the tab’s own memory rather than in a cookie, so there is nothing for the browser to restore afterwards.
EVVA’s records keep a session valid on the server for up to 30 days, and your access is quietly renewed every hour while you are using it. But that 30 days is a ceiling on the server, not what you experience: the part of the session your browser holds is discarded when the tab closes, so in practice closing the browser is what ends it.
What signs you out
EVVA and the Creator Studio are two separate sign-ins
They are two different apps, and each keeps its own session. This has consequences worth knowing:
- Signing out of one does not sign you out of the other.
- “Sign out everywhere” in the creator app does not reach into your EVVA session, and a reset of your password reaches both.
Crossing from EVVA into the creator app carries your session with you: Creator Studio in the account menu and Go to your creator studio on the Become a Creator page both take you there signed in, and Start earning does the same for someone entering onboarding. Signing in on EVVA’s own sign-in page does it too — if your account holds creator access you are taken into the studio already signed in.
”That link is no longer valid” when crossing between apps
The link that carries your session from EVVA into the creator app lives for 60 seconds and works once. That is short on purpose.
If you are slow, reload the page, open it twice, or return to it later, the creator app shows: That link is no longer valid — these links can only be used once, and they expire quickly. Go back to EVVA and choose “Start earning” again.
Do exactly that. Nothing is wrong with your account, and you have not used anything up.
If instead you see We could not complete the handover from EVVA just now, that is a connection problem rather than an expired link — press Try again first, and only go back to EVVA if it keeps failing.
Why you were signed out without doing anything
Two things end a session that you did not press a button for:
- Someone reset the account’s password. That ends every session on the account. If it was not you, see Keeping your account secure.
- Another device signed everything else out. In the creator app, Sign out everywhere on one device ends every other device’s session.
