Resetting your password
For anyone locked out — how the reset link works, what it signs out, and why the screen never tells you whether your address is registered.
Press Forgot your password? on EVVA’s sign-in page, or open /auth/reset-password directly. The page is headed Reset your password. Type your email address, press Send reset link, and open the link in the email.
Request the link
The screen answers: If that address has an EVVA account, a reset link is on its way. It is valid for 30 minutes.
Open the link from the email
The page becomes Choose a new password, with New password and Repeat new password fields.
The screen will not tell you whether you have an account
Send reset link gives the same answer to every address: one that has an account, one that does not, and one you mistyped. It is written that way on purpose, so that nobody can use the form to find out who has an EVVA account.
So the message is not confirmation that an email is coming. If nothing arrives, check the spelling of the address you typed, and check your spam folder. If you are not sure which address your account uses, contact support at support@evvahub.com — support can look it up; this form cannot.
Only the newest link works
Request a second link and the first one stops working immediately. Only the most recent reset link for your account is live at any time.
This matters because an old link and an expired link fail identically: This link is no longer valid. Request a new one and it will arrive in a moment. If you requested several, open the newest email.
The same message also covers a link that has already been used and a link that never existed. Request a fresh one and use it once.
Resetting signs you out everywhere
Setting a new password ends every signed-in session on your account, on every device, including the one you are using. That is the point — it is the fastest way to remove someone else’s access. You then sign in again with the new password.
This is also how you set a password for the first time
If your account was created by signing in with Google, it has no password. Forgot your password? works on those accounts and sets a password for the first time. Afterwards you can sign in either way.
Creators: reset on EVVA, not in the studio
Every reset link EVVA sends points at the main EVVA app, whichever app you use day to day.
To reset a creator account’s password: open EVVA’s /auth/reset-password, complete the reset there, then return to the creator app and sign in.
Changing a password you still know
To change a password you already know, use this same reset flow. Note that it signs every device out, as above.
