How do I accept a delivery and release payment?
For fans whose order has been delivered — how to accept, what it releases, and where the files live afterwards.
Open the order from the My orders tab on /marketplace and press Accept and release $X. That one press ends the order and sends the held money to the creator. There is no separate confirmation step, so look at the files first.
Accept a delivery
Open the delivered order
On /marketplace, go to My orders and choose the Delivered filter. The chip reads Delivered and the row says “The creator delivered. Review it when you can.”
Look at the files
The delivery sits on the order: a grid for photo sets, a frame for video, a row of controls for audio. Open each item before you decide.
Accepting is final. It releases the money and closes the order, and there is no undo. If anything is wrong, use Request changes or open a dispute first — neither is available once the order is accepted.
Where the files live afterwards
They stay on the order. A completed order’s button reads See the delivery, and it scrolls you to the files.
Marketplace deliveries do not appear in your Library. The Library holds content purchases and chat media; work delivered against a marketplace order is neither. The files are yours — the only way back to them is to reopen the order on the My orders tab.
If the accept button is not there
- A change request, cancellation request or dispute standing on the order blocks acceptance. The order’s button becomes Message [creator] instead, and the footer says the money stays in escrow until the other side answers. Withdraw the request to get the accept back.
- An order that has been refunded cannot be accepted. Its files also stop opening: “This commission was refunded, so these files are no longer yours to open. The delivery stays on the record.”
If you do nothing
A delivered order shows a line reading “Auto-releases [time] if you don’t review it.” If you do nothing until it runs out, the delivery is accepted for you and the money goes to the creator. See will my order be accepted automatically.
About the delivery itself
A delivery is the work itself — the files the creator made for you. If you want context on what they did or why, message them on the order; that conversation sits alongside the delivery rather than inside it.
