How do I send a tip?
You can tip on a post or in a conversation. A tip is between 500.00.
Tipping on a post
- Open the tip control on the post. The sheet offers
$5,$10,$25and$50, and the amount field opens at25.00. - Choose a quick amount or type your own.
- Confirm the amount. This is the step where the amount is decided and recorded.
- Pay the tip through the usual payment sheet — your EVVA balance, a card on file, or a card you type in.
The amount you see at the payment step is the amount the platform recorded, not the number your browser was holding. If they ever differ, the one on screen at payment is the one that counts.
Tipping in a chat
A chat tip works the same way. The amount is fixed when the tip is sent in the conversation, and paying it is the second step.
The limits
An amount outside those limits is refused, not adjusted: “A gift must be between 500.00.” Nothing is charged and no tip is recorded. You are never quietly given a different amount from the one you typed.
The tip sheet checks the limits before it sends anything, so an out-of-range amount is usually caught as you type.
Why you cannot change the amount at the payment step
Choosing the amount and paying are two different acts. Once the amount is recorded, the payment step carries no amount at all — it pays for the tip that already exists. To send a different amount, start a new tip.
